Sheba Credit anchors every credit file to your verified national identity. This confirms you are who you say you are and keeps your profile secure.

Verify with Fayda
Fayda is Ethiopia's national digital ID. You'll confirm your identity directly on Fayda's secure system — Sheba Credit never sees your PIN or biometrics.

Your data, your consent

Before we build your credit profile, please confirm how Sheba Credit may use your information.

Sheba Credit collects and processes your verified identity data and the financial information you provide in order to calculate your Sheba Credit Score. Your data is stored securely and encrypted. We will only share your credit score and report with licensed financial institutions when you apply for credit with them, or when they are required to assess you under National Bank of Ethiopia Directive CRB/02/2019. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time; some records are kept for a mandatory retention period under Directive CRB/02/2019. We never sell your data.
